Government and corporate bureaucracy have gotten out of hand, and intermingle with each other too much nowadays. Many people are crying out for spending breaks from either side as we approach yet another once in a lifetime recession, but neither are willing to give. Some will argue that killing big government will immediately allow for a free system for all, while others see this as the beginning of a major corporate hellscape. I am arguing for the latter. Governments and corporations both need to shrink in scale, but only governments can be voluntarily shrunk by their populace, while corporations, like the cancer they are, will demand growth at all costs, even to their own detriment. The order must be that government forces the shrinking of corporations, and then voluntarily shrinks itself.
