Cheeto Man Donald and Canada

What a mess the last 2 months have been due to cheeto man Donald (everyone knows who I am talking about already, so I am not even going to respect him with a last name). From flip flopping trade reasons, moving goal posts, and threatening other nations with annexation/war, it has been rough on Canadians, of which I am one.

His crude rhetoric is nothing but the last of the generation that saw the "good times" of the USA after World War II throwing a temper tantrum that "number must go up" and "progress must continue" be nothing but a dead dream, and are burning the planks of the ship to keep the fire going. It is this format of self consumption to prop up current regimes that is the definition of totalitarianism and fascism. An in group is required to hold power, and determine who is in, while siphoning off all of the "good" and leaving the bad to not them. Be it Hitler with the Nazis, or Stalin with the Soviets, the total take over of not just the economy but the everyday life of people as well.

Politics are meant to be boring. That is, slow, tedious and about convincing others. It is purposely this so no random tyrant can get into power and over the course of 2 months screw everything up. But now this B rate celebrity with enough criminal charges on him to sink just about anyone into max security, let alone what is treated as common knowledge of being a rapist, money launderer, and soviet/russian puppet, is in charge of the largest military, with a dying economy.

Canada sees this, at least according to the CBC and Canadian Reddittors. There has been little to no actual news coverage otherwise, probably due to the fact that most other "Canadian" news sources are actually american owned. Canada has been threatened with invasion multiple times as of this writing, and there are rumours that the felon has issued the military to draft "plans" for Panama already.

Canada is rich in resources, and space, two things America has in short supply. Ignore the fact that outside the 401 corridor, and parts of BC that the temperature swings drastically, and that most of the northern land is either pine forest, tundra or bog, all the worst things to try and farm. We generally export power to them, and aluminum comes from us, as aluminum is solid electricity. Up until the last american election, everything was fine, but as this insane man gained power through his cult, the closest ally, and country most voted as friendly, is now under duress of being attacked momentarily, along with Greenland.

Canada is also rich in one thing: History of being NOT American. Where we have healthcare, they do not. Where they have nationalistic pride, we have true patriot love, meaning that we are what we are, we can be better, lets do that. The War of 1812 is where Canadians (yes, Canadians, as in people of British North America living in Upper and Lower Canada) fought against the Americans to stay independent, loyal to the Crown, and be NOT American. This is the reason the White House is White. Canada burned it, but it did not burn down. White paint covers burn marks well. This is probably a good example of why they want to "annex" read conquer Canada: our very existence is a thorn in their side of their nationalistic American exceptionalism, and they need to manifest their destiny while being isolationist. They need space, and need their people to see that there is no other way to live on the continent, compared to the "soft Europeans" and "China".

Canada has had strong relationships with America for decades, but it has been wary of them as well. Our outgoing Prime Minister's father, also a Prime Minister, Pierre Trudeau said "Living next to you is in some ways like sleeping with an elephant. No matter how friendly and even-tempered is the beast, if I can call it that, one is affected by every twitch and grunt". We are tied to them physically, so everything they do affects us, but we are also aware that we could be squished at any moment.

Canada needs to call on its allies, of which we have many. We will not win a war, but no reason to lose one. We can make it so it is too painful and fruitless to conquer us. We have the terrain of the mountains, the winter on our side, and we already moved the capitol in plans for this occurring to reduce water invasion.

It is time to recall the Ambassador and Peace, and plan for defence. For those in power, or those in America, the White House is white for a reason, don't make us want to turn it black again. You have aging infrastructure, that is highly suceptible to interference. The Mississippi Dam and the trade bridges are ripe for the taking.
