Ingredients
- 3 carrots, peeled, sliced
- 2 stalks celery, sliced
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 lb boneless skinless chicken thighs
- 1 jar pasta sauce
- 1/4 cup Extra virgin olive oil Tuscan Italian dressing
- 6 cups whole wheat penne pasta, uncooked
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh basil
- 1/2 cup parmesan shredded cheese
Instructions
Place vegetables in slow cooker; top with chicken. Mix pasta sauce and dressing; add to slow cooker. Cover with lid. Cook on low 6-8 hours. Cook pasta as directed, omitting salt. Stir basil into slow cooker. Drain pasta. Serve pasta topped with chicken mixture and cheese
