Ingredients
- 2 cups flour
- 2 cups rolled oats
- 1 tsp salt
- 3/4 cup butter
- 1/2 cup shortening
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup white sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 2 tbsp hot water
Instructions
Cream butter and shortening with sugars. Mix in beaten egg. Dissolve baking soda in hot water. Add flour and oats. Roll thin and cut into squares bake at 360°F for 12 minutes. Check after 10 min
