Lightly grease an 8" square cake pan, sift together flour, baking powder, soda and salt. Cream shortening and blend in sugar, lemon juice and eggs. Stir dry into creamed mixture alternately with milk. Spread 1/2 of mixture into pan, top with peaches and spread remaining mixture over fruit. Make a crumble crust with the last three ingredients and sprinkle on top of batter. Bake at 350°F for 45-50 minutes or until cake pulls away from pan. Cut into squares and serve warm with ice cream or whipped cream
