Flank Steak Marinade

Ingredients
- 1 flank steak
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil (can use others as well)
- 3 tbsp honey (and/or maple syrup)
- 3-4 cloves garlic
- 2 tbsps minced fresh ginger
- 3 scallions thinly sliced, or 1 regular onion
Instructions
In a large ziploc bag, add everything, putting the steak in last. Seal the bag. Shake to mix well and put in the fridge for at least 10 hours.
To cook, remove stake from bag, throw out bag and stuff in it. Sear the steak on a hot pan (clarified butter works great) and slice against the grain to eat.
