Chunky Hazelnut Cookies

Ingredients
- 3/4 cup shortening or split shortening/
- and margarine
- 1 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 egg
- 2 tbsp. milk
- 1 tbsp. vanilla
- 1 1/2 cups all purpose flour
- 1/4 tsp.. baking soda
- 3/4 tsp.. salt
- 3/4 tsp.. cinnamon
- 2 cups coarsely chopped hazelnuts
Instructions
Cream shortening/margarine and sugar in large bowl. Add egg, milk and vanilla until light and fluffy. Combine flour, baking soda, salt and cinnamon. Add to creamed mixture. Stir in hazelnuts. Drop dough by heaping spoonfuls on an ungreased cookie sheet leaving room for cookies to spread. Bake at 375°F for 7-9 minutes.
