Put butter, sugar and egg in mixing bowl. Beat smooth. Stir in juice. In second bowl measure in flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Stir in orange rind, cranberries and nuts. Empty all into batter stirring until moistened. Scrape into greased loaf pan 9 x 5 x 3 inch. Bake at 350°F for 1 hour. Test with toothpick trying not to poke a whole cranberry. let stand for 10 minutes. Remove from pan. Cool on cake rack. Wrap.
