Ingredients
- 3/4 cup shortening
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 egg
- 4 tbsp. molasses
- 2 cups flour
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. ginger
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
Instructions
Cream sugar and shortening and add egg. Add dry ingredients. Stir until smooth. Roll dough into small balls then roll balls in sugar. Do not press down onto cookie sheets as they will flatten out on their own. Bake at 350°F for 10 minutes.
