Ingredients
- 1 cup white sugar
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 cup flour
- 1 cup grated carrots
- 1 cup grated potatoes
- 1/2 cup raisons
- 1/2 cup currants
- 1/2 tsp.. cloves
- 1/2 tsp.. nutmeg
- 1/2 tsp.. cinnamon
- 1 tsp.. baking soda
Instructions
Mix everything is a big bowl except 1/2 cup of potatoes and baking soda. Mix reserved potatoes and soda together, then add to mixture. Place in steamer bowls and steam for 3 hours. This item may be removed from bowls, wrapped and then frozen for later.
Per Serving
Reheat pudding in a steamer, serve plated in 1/2 cup portions with nutmeg sauce.
