Ingredients
- 1 cup flour
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 cup soft butter or margarine
- 1 cup firmly packed brown sugar
- 1 tsp. vanilla flavouring
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup All Bran
- 1 cup seedless raisins
Instructions
Sift together flour and salt. Combine butter and sugar in mixing bowl and mix thoroughly. Add vanilla and eggs and beat well. Stir in All Bran and raisins. Add flour mixture and stir thoroughly until combined. Spread on well greased 9 x 9" pan. Bake at 350°F for 30 minutes or until done. Cool in pan on wire rack. Ice with icing and let sit until set. cut into bars about 3" x 1 1/2". Chopped nutmeats or flaked coconut may be sprinkled over icing, if desired.
